SkyWheel Panama City Beach is looking for dependable, guest service oriented, high energy individuals to join our “Flight Crew”! 

SkyWheel Panama City Beach is seeking a dependable, team-oriented individual with high energy and a passion for delivering excellent guest service. Qualified candidates will be responsible and dedicated to delivering the highest level of customer service to all guests. This candidate must be willing to work a flexible schedule in a fast-paced environment. SkyWheel Panama City Beach is open seven days a week. Position requires weekend and holiday availability. We are looking for a motivated individual with experience and the ability and willingness to achieve desired results.

Duties and Responsibilities

Includes, but not limited to:

  • Provide the highest level of customer service while greeting guests as they enter and exit the attraction
  • Engage and entertain guests as they experience the attraction
  • Take an active role in assisting customers and answering any questions
  • Ensure proper behavior and attitude of guests and ask for assistance from a supervisor, manager or security when needed
  • Remain alert at all times providing a safe environment
  • Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures and practices
  • Oversee and manage crowd control and an efficient workflow
  • Comply with all internal control, procedures, and practices
  • Attend all scheduled training
  • Understand and be knowledgeable to work all other functions of the attraction including ticket sales; ride operations; and retail, food and beverage sales.
  • Maintain a clean and professional work area
  • Assist in preopening and closing procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications include but are not limited to:

  • Must be outgoing, friendly, professional and willing to speak to every guest, answer questions and be proactive in engaging all guests
  • Proven attention to detail and follow-through with excellent organizational skills for keeping detailed records, reports and logs
  • Must be able to work professionally and coordinate with all levels of SkyWheel team members, vendors, onsite venue partners and guests
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time and work in a variety of conditions including heat, cold and rain
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language
  • Acceptable pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Experience in the amusement/theme park or high-volume tourist-based entertainment venue is beneficial

SkyWheel Panama City Beach is seeking a dependable, team-oriented individual with high energy and a passion for delivering excellent guest service. Qualified candidates will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the venue, including management of all crew members. This candidate must be willing to work a flexible schedule in a fast-paced environment. SkyWheel Panama City Beach is open 7 days a week. Position requires weekend and holiday availability.

Duties And Responsibilities Included But Not Limited To

  • Manage and supervise the daily operations of SkyWheel crew by enforcing policies and procedures, coaching and training
  • Must have knowledge in operating and understanding all aspects of the wheel control system
  • Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures and practices
  • Ensure crew is performing with the highest level of safety and guest service
  • Responds to and assists with emergency situations that may occur
  • Responds to and takes appropriate action to resolve concerns and complaints from guests with positive outcome
  • When needed, create crew/guest incident reports and submit to General Manager
  • Completes operational paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
  • Notifies maintenance of mechanical issues as necessary to ensure safe operation
  • Oversees crowd control procedures for the entire venue
  • Attend and contribute to training sessions
  • Cross-train in all areas of the attractions and work on the floor as needed, setting the example for high level guest service
  • Challenges crew to consistently improve and implement new ideas
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications included but not limited to:
  • Must have an outgoing attitude and exhibit great guest service
  • Proven attention to detail and follow-through with excellent organizational skills for keeping detailed records, reports and logs
  • Previous supervisory experience required
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language
  • Must be able to work professionally and coordinate with all levels of the SkyWheel team, vendors and partners
  • Must be available to work full-time (including nights, overnights, weekends and holidays) and work unscheduled hours to respond to unplanned and/or emergency situations

Ability to lift 75 pounds without difficulty
Must be able to stand for long periods of time and work in a variety of conditions including heat, cold and rain
Must have a valid driver’s license and complete acceptable pre-employment drug screening and background check
Minimum of 2 years of service experience in the amusement/theme park or high-volume tourist-based entertainment venue is preferred, but not required

At this time, SkyWheel Panama City Beach is not currently hiring for this position. 

SkyWheel Panama City Beach is seeking a dependable, team-oriented individual with high energy and a passion for delivering excellent guest service. The Maintenance Technician at SkyWheel Panama City Beach is responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on the ride attractions and property venue. The Maintenance Technician will perform work in any one of the following maintenance areas: carpentry, plumbing, painting, tile and electrical. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing ride maintenance, repairs, and safety inspections. 

Duties and responsibilities included but not limited to: 
• Perform ride maintenance and inspections per the manufacturer requirements and the ASTM F-24 Standards
• Document and communicate such inspections daily to the SkyWheel Operator on duty to ensure safe operations
• Ensure compliance with all safety policies, procedures and practices per the manufacturer and SkyWheel operation standards
• Maintain, repair, troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on equipment both mechanically and electrically to ensure their safe and efficient operation
• Maintain daily reports such as inspections, replacement parts, and work completed
• Attend and contribute to all safety meetings
• Operate and maintain various power and hand tools
• Other duties as assigned

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language
• Proficiency in the areas of plumbing, carpentry and light electrical work
• Must be organized, responsible and able to prioritize tasks
• Must be able to comprehend general mechanical principles and technical manuals
• Must be able to trouble shoot technical problems
• Must be able to work efficiently with and without close supervision
• Must have basic understanding of computers
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders for the purpose of inspection and repair and work at heights 100 feet above the ground
• Ability to lift 75 pounds without difficulty, stand for long periods of time and work in a variety of conditions including heat, cold and rain
• Ability to work full- time and be available to work unscheduled hours to respond to unplanned and/or emergency work, including nights, overnights, weekends and holidays
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Minimum of 2 years maintenance experience. Prior experience in the amusement/theme park or high-volume tourist-based entertainment venue is beneficial.
